Sketchbook

Pages from my notebooks

Pen and ink still life: a jug, a spray bottle, a cup with brushes and a dark glass behind a crumpled cloth and an open box, with the background inked solid black
A sketchbook page: a figure in a hood drawn in pen over green paint, standing at a railing with a fluffy white cat beside them
A sketchbook page: a pen drawing of a person among suitcases and luggage, with a dark inked top band
Bright, thick painting of a train station interior: overhead beams and lights in yellow, pink and teal over a purple floor with figures
Painted portrait of a young woman with long blonde hair and brown eyes, her face in lilac, blue and pink, on a black ground
Painted portrait of a person with short dark shaggy hair, face in yellow and grey-green, against a pale green background
Pen drawing of a person's legs in loose trousers and boots beside a rolling suitcase and bags
Painting looking down at a table: two white plates with spoons and leftover food, a glass and an orange bottle on green
Painting of a fluffy long-haired cat with pale eyes, fur in thick strokes of cream, rust, lilac and grey
Green and orange painted interior: a window with a plant on the sill, a shelf of orange things, and an orange shape draped over a chair
Loose painting in purples, greens and reds: a pale face at the top with a long drip running down into a tangle of plants
