Some nights I dream about missing InDesign links. Some days I’m pulling stray ropes of hot glue off my hands. In between is a feeling I still can’t put into words, which is funny, because giving words a form is the job. When it works, it feels a little like magic. There are more typefaces than I’ll ever have time to try. And the invisible lines that meet at ninety degrees stop feeling like boxes. They become dwellings for words and images.
